We stayed at Harford Hall. This circular route went via Vale Royal Abbey and back via Winsford Salt Mine and the River Weaver. This walk was led by Mel Illingworth, Country Guide Holidays (tel: 0113 2575996) who I would thoroughly recommend for great walk
