Event details and schedule

The fabulous backdrop of Pangbourne College at the start of the RIDE Wessex Downs and RIDE Wessex Downs Dirty bike ride is a sight to behold.

Setting off from Pangbourne College this fantastic sportive will head into the stunning, quiet lanes of the Wessex Downs. 

With three road and two gravel route options this ride offers something for everyone.

The Cool 30-mile route is an excellent way to kick off the season, testing your legs out after the cold winter months. The more challenging Classic 70-mile and Champion at 100-mile routes are ideal if you’re an experienced or regular sportive rider and have been keeping your legs turning over indoors.

Our two new gravel routes feature some of the very best off-road riding in the south of England, including the historic ridgeway, one of Britain's oldest trackways.

Expect a great day in the saddle with the team on this Action Medical Research cycling event with first-class support throughout the day. Please help us raise vital funds to help sick and disabled babies and children.
