Rebel Plunge Swim 2023

Description

The Rebel Plunge Swim is back and is on Sunday 11th June 2023 @ 2.00pm, alongside the Maritime Festival in Cork. The Swim will be 3.8km downstream from Boardwalk in Cork City to Blackrock Village. The Swim is along a spectator friendly course, with views from the Marina to the Finish. This timed event will have a staggered start (for safety reasons) and is open to all Wetsuit & Skins swimmers. There is NO regisration on the day, Entries must be done online beforehand, as after swim finger food and goodie bags need to be ordered and catered for in advance. ALL EXCESS money is going to our chosen Charity Partner this year. #RebelPlunge23

Event details and schedule

All Entrants will recieve an email the week of the event with confirmed timings and details.

But for now, the draft timings are planned as:

Registration from 12.30 -1.30pm

Safety Briefing at 1:45pm

First wave of swimmers start at 2.00pm (fastest swimmers last).

Cut off time is 3:45pm.

Swimmers will exit the slip at Blackrock (Cork Boat Club) and collect your bags (that will have been brought from Port of Cork).

BBQ planned for after the swim.
