Description

Take on the challenge of the Derwent Reservoir Trail Race and run alongside the pictureesque Derwent Reservoir.

Event details and schedule

Derwent Reservoir lies within the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on the border between County Durham and Northumberland, and, after Kielder Reservoir, is the second largest reservoir in the region. It supplies 28 million gallons (127 million litres) of water every day to the homes and industries of much of Wearside and South Tyneside. All proceeds will go towards Water Aid whose vision is a world where everyone has safe water and sanitation. The race will be hosted by Run Peterlee and will be supported by Northumbrian Water Group.
