Brought to you by the experienced team at Iconic Cycling Events, Bike Chester championed by Redrow Homes is a one day ride with a choice of 25, 50 and 80 mile routes. Enjoy great riding through the Cheshire countryside, local food and drink and a lively atmosphere in our post-ride event village.

Your entry fee includes:

  • Electronic timing
  • Fully signposted routes with a back up route map and GPS files;
  • Feed stations showcasing the best produce from local food and drink suppliers;
  • On course first aid and mechanical support;
  • Free professional event photos from the course.

2019 entry fees have been held from 2018 and are £36 for the 50 and 80 mile routes, £26 for the 25 mile rout, and £15 for Under 16s. There will be an online booking fee on all entries.

The start/finish area will be at The King's School on Wrexham Road.


There are no parking facilities at the school. We recommend riders use the Marks and Spencer Bank car park in Chester Business park (a couple of minutes down the road).

Saturday afternoon

We will be open for collection of timing chips and rider numbers from 17:00 to 18:30 at the Event Village.

Sunday Morning

07:30 - 10:15 Arrive at the venue and leave your bike in the secure bike park while you sign in to collect your timing chips and rider numbers. If you need to leave a bag there will be a bag drop available.

When you’re ready to go please grab your bike and make your way to the start area where riders will be briefed and released in groups of 20 as follows:

  07:30 - 08:30 - 80 milers

  08:30 - 09:30 - 50 milers

  09:30 - 10:15 - 25 milers

Along the route you will find clear signage, feed stations and first aid support. There will also be first aid trained event staff to provide assistance if required.

Sunday Afternoon

We'll have a range of food vendors at the event village, plus a licensed bar so you can wind down after the ride.
