Description

Challenging 2km Open Water Swim from island of Ireland's Eye to the Claremont Beach, Howth, Co. Dublin.

Howth is a stunning fishing port set in North Co. Dublin. This is a swim not to be missed by any sea swimmer.

Wetsuits are not compulsary but are advised.

 

This event is suitable for Experenced and competent Open Water Swimmers Only.

Course subject to Strong Tidal Currents

Entry closes whenever we fill event quota

In 2017 we were full several weeks before the event

Event details and schedule

Pre-registration online only until Monday June 18th OR whenever Event Quote Reached  - No Entry On Day

Sun 24th June:

Race sign on 7 - 8am

Boat transfer to Ireland's Eye - 7.45 to 8.30am

Race start: 9am

First Finishers ETA: 9.25 am

Final Finishers ~10.10 am

Prize Presentation  in Scout Hall ~10.30 am
