"Mapometer.com (short for mapping pedometer) is an international site providing runners, cyclists and walkers with an easy way to measure the distances of their runs, jogs, rides, walks and hikes using Google maps. It also provides training logs, altitude and elevation measuring and the ability to share routes. Used by athletes worldwide as a tool to train for marathons, half-marathons and triathlons and occasional joggers, mountain bikers and sports men and women to see how far they are going and keep fit. "

2 LAPS - From transition, run to the Somer Centre, follow the offroad footpath behind it with the stream on your left. step over low bar, cross over the metal bridge, the stream is now on your right. Stay on path until it joins the pavement on Somervale Rd (opposite St Johns Ambulance building)run on the pavement, cross Wheelers Rd, after approx 20 metres turn right on to the (new tarmac) cycle path which goes gradually uphill bearing right then flattens out. Stay on this path until the right turn on to the old pit path (tarmac) run downhill and look out for the footpath on the right which takes you back down to the Sports Centre. All signed and marshalled on the day.
