3/1/17- Im glad to confirm we have hit the minimum numbers in order to run the event and paid the deposit to Whats My Time and the Outdoor Centre so we have an instant print out on the day and the best Race HQ in the country with all the facilaties you could want. help support our club and we will give you an island welcome you will not forget. We are limited to numbers due to the unique start, however we have held a few places back for our charities and main sponsors - so please contact us if you wish to raise money for them.

As head coach of Arran Triathlon Club I wanted to show of our island, and what we can offer you as a race day experience along with a venue, memorabilia and evening entertainment you deserve after taking on your own battles throught the day.
Please note - The race referee may change any part of the course due to safety concerns on the day
8-8:45am - Half Iron Distance – Registration & Transition opens
8:15 – 9am -Half Iron Distance transport to Holy Isle
9:15am Half Iron Distance Start (swim 1hr)
CUT OF 7:45HRS (5PM)
10:30-11:45am STD Distance – Registration & Transition opens
11:00-11:50pm – STD Distance transport to Holy Isle
12pm STD Distance Start (swim 50m)
CUT OF 4HRS (5PM)
12:50pm Sprint Distance – Registration & Transition opens (& Open Water event)
2pm Sprint Distance starts. (swim 30m)
CUT OF 2:30HR (4:30PM)
3.8km Open water swim START 2:45pm-5pm
3:30-4:30pm-Tri Star1/2/3 Registration
4-4:45pm Transition opens
4-8pm Live music starts along with local bands and singers
(Road closed 5pm -7pm for non emergency vehicles)
5:15pm Tri 1 Start (cut off 25min)
5:25pm Tri 2 Start (cut off 35min)
5:35pm Tri 3 Start (cut off 40min)
8-9pm Awards and presentation
9pm-11:30pm Live entertainment
Course info: Swim will be a sea swim from Holy Isle if you are doing the Half or Olympic distances and from the outdoor centre if you are doing the Full/sprint or tri star races.
Bike - Transition 1 will be at the Outdoor Centre and clock wise using the islands ring road for the Full/half for all other events it will be out and back.
Run - T2 will be at the Outdoor Centre and the run course will be a tarmac track following the sea through lamlash and back.
Arival Info: We have planned the events with Calmac Ferry service and please see times on our website.
Parking - will be onsite at the Outdoor Centre and local High School.
